Guy's interview with Kevin P. really confused me because he said that Platt was 5'9" however I was sure he was not that small. he is listed everywhere else as 6'1" 220 pounds.

According to the 2000 Central Scouting Bureau list, Platt was 6'0-1/2, and 210.

I can't think of a short defender save Bergeron. Svensk is 6'2, Greene's a monster, Lynch, Woywitka. Even the failures like Ljibmov were 6'3.

I haven't listened to the interview again but I'm wondering if how K.P. meant to say it was more like "Platt is a different scenario in that he's built like (Marc-Andre) Bergeron who's 5'9" and 215 lbs."

But then again, Bergy isn't that heavy and is actually listed as 5'10". So not sure. Maybe he was just saying that Platt is not tall but he's stocky and strong, like Bergeron is?
