Novel Trade Idea

To NAS: J-Luc Pierre
To CBJ: Vernon Fiddler

This way, both teams get what they need.

What does Nashville need that JLGP could offer? Is it another borderline NHL Dman or 4th liner?

Seeing how Fiddler tore a part of Spacek's groin in a fight last month, I don't see this happening. Fiddler doesn't offer anything more than some players on the Crunch, and Nashville has no need for Hyphens.

I'll trade you my copy of Slaughterhouse Five for your copy of Catcher in the Rye.

i was about to say. vern might not be anything more than a depth forward\fourth liner, but a least he's a decent penalty killer, and you can pretty much count on him not to make mistakes. hyphens really isn't anything we need.

Agreed. You'd only need him to provide grit and toughness, and if there's anything the Preds don't need, it's that.

I must say, I have noticed a disturbing lack of Verns on the CBJ.

Yeah, Spacek, yes that Spacek, the notorious fighter, got jumped by Fiddler as Spacek tried to keep him from joining the Tootoo-Klesla fight. Wasnt even a real fight and we lost another of our top Defensemen for a long time.

Edit: Just checked hockeyfights.com and Spacek's only other fight was years ago against that tough guy Nelson Emerson.

Let's try to keep the language on the board to "English" shall we? Not everybody here speaks "gangsta".

A lot of people here aren't "down with that."

D'accord

D'accord. On ne doit pas ecrire dans le style "gangster" ici. C'est une bonne idee. We should only write in hockey english - Garriochian or Fischler is prefered usage. Dats, you da man fo ussiz gangsta hockey nerdz. Word.
