MTL/Ana/Pitts Proposal

To Montreal: Dustin Penner and Maxim Talbot

VS

To Anaheim: Colby Armstrong and Alex Perezhogin

VS

To Pittsburgh: Alex Kovalev and Mathieu Dandenault

P.O.V.:

Montreal need help on the 2nd line and Penner can be a solution. Maxim Talbot is a young defensive forward. I like him.

Anaheim: They can trade Penner because Swan and Ryan are both talented. Armstrong can be a part of the 2nd line. I know Perezhogin is in Russia but Anaheim can give him a chance.

Pittsburgh: Dandenault isn't bad at all is a good veteran Pittsburgh need some little help on defense and imagine Kovalev along with Crosby.

just because they "can" trade penner doesnt mean they would...no way anaheim does this. ever.

Something tells me the OP is a Habs fan...

Anaheim gets fleeced IMO. Armstrong and Perezhogen are decent, but Penner is better.

So the Habs trade the enigmatic Kovalev, a subpar player in Russia (who likely wont come back) and a 5th defenseman for a young, talented powerfoward and a useful defensive foward?

You must be a Habs fan

Oh yeah, why would Pittsburgh want Kovalev, they already got Sykora to play with Crosby

Even if Perezhogin was in NA I would strongly say NO for a Ducks point of view.

2 of our best lockeroom guys, one of them being Sid's best friend on the team, for a d-man we don't have room for and an underachiever who we already got his best years out of.

No thanks.

Honestly, if it was not of Kovalev salary, I wouldn't be too excited about this deal as a hab fan.

I understand that the other teams think this deal suck for them and it's true.

But...

I like Talbot but we don't need him at all.

I like Penner but I don't think he would fit on the Habs. I think that Kovalev could very well be a better solution if he stays in the game. Penner isn't at the same level than a Kovalev in the game.

That said, getting rid of Kovy salary and Dandenault would be awesome but it makes this deal ridiculous for the other teams.

Probably the 75th stupid proposal made by this insane666... seems like he always try to start a Habs-fan bashing with these kind of threads.

So we get rid of two promising young players and get two aging players... sounds like a great deal, a great deal for you.

Do you really think that Brian Burke would trade a promising young power forward---who hasn't begun to reach his potential---to "give a chance" to a guy who "is in Russia"? Remember, Burke couldn't wait to get rid of Fedorov. Why would he want to deal with a guy who'd rather play in Russia?

yeah and apparently a bunch of dopes on here still fall for it. i've already heard a couple of posters say the thread maker must be a Habs fan. get a clue people.

i'm starting to wonder who's actual more pathetic insane666 and Riffo or the fools who fall for it everytime.

Perezhogin isn't even in North America.

It's Insane666, what do you expect?

The Habs are going to win every trade proposal.
