that sucks I hope Ryan doesn't have to play center again, oh well doesn't sound serious probably one game missed at the most and Reasoner is oh so close to returning.

that sucks... I hope he does take tonights game off & rest his back, so he doesn't risk injurying it anymore & missing a lot more games down the stretch.

What a loss for the team, he's been such a catalyst for the club. If Im not mistaken, he's scored the first Oilers goal in each of the last 4 games, or is it 5, my memory gets a little shaky around Holiday time, must be the egg nog. I wonder how it will effect the line-up tonight.

I believe he leads the team in goals, assists, points (obviously), and short handed goals. Simply put, he's been our MVP.

No question, It's been a while since I've seen such a small guy with so much heart. IMO, he does his job better than 90% of the guys in this league. He has done everything asked of him including top minutes on the PP, PK, and playing in all game situations...MVP? he's got my vote.

he was in the lineup, in the 2-1 win, but was held pointless..

the Oiler goals broke down like this

late in the first Torres (Dvorak, Brewer)

3rd period
:09 Smyth (unassisted) SHG..

His forecheck was the key to that first goal.

Definitely the MVP right now.
