There was a small contengiency of Orange County bro's and bro-ho's as well, loitering. I would say that during the play-offs 5-10 percent of the people in your building were Kingsfans starved for playoff hockey. We would have gone anywhere to avoid having to listen, to your duo of Ahlers and Heyward. Factor in the Vancouver fans, Detroit fans, Ottawa fans, and the small group of Minnesota fans and you have nothing to brag about attendance-wise.

You guys have an extremely geeky fan-base. A lot of the time going to Ducks games is like going to a PTA meeting that serves alcohol! Last year is over and so is the Ducks party. We'll see what you got for us this year. We got better. You haven't!

Congratulations on the cup again! It is like when the high school nerd makes more money than you after high school. Who cares.? When LA wins the cup I'll celebrate just as much. I could give two ***** if you won it first. it has nothing to do with the reasons I love my team. It is not all about winning. It's about history and great moments in TEAM history. We have had Gretzky, Robitaille, and Dionne. We have seen these guys break numerous records and make NHL and Team history.
Ok and half the people in staples center are bitter ex raider fans who just show up to get drunk. And the women! the women are total butterfaces.

Isn't it nice to use broad brushes?

It's nice of you to try and make winning secondary, the fact that you arguably had the GOAT on your team and still couldn't get it done would probably make me do the same too...look for silver linings as opposed to silver cups.

Alfie had a great plus minus and was incredible in the defensive zone and can get points.

And even if I was embarrassing myself, which I don't believe I am, I think you can tell that I would never care about what you or any other Ducks fan would ever think of me; since you like the Ducks, I can already tell that you have a warped view on reality. And you guys keep saying, "At least we won the cup". That doesn't mean that "your team" (I can't stand calling it your team, the fact being that you guys don't know **** about hockey, among other things) deserved the cup; the Ducks are one of the dirtiest teams I have ever seen. So, frankly, I don't care that your favorite team won the cup. And before someone asks why I am even on the board if I don't care what you "Ducks fans" think, it's because I sometimes have trouble understanding how some people can be so incredibly impaired in general.
And we ABSOLUTELY don't give a rip about what you have to say. We won the Cup and there's ABSOLUTELY no chance in hell that you're going to ruin it for us. You're one of the biggest douches out there. Please leave our forum....PLEASE!

Have you seen the kings' attendance...

There were a million empty seats at the staples center this past season as well

Not only that, I saw a Ducks fan at a red wings game cheering against the kings last season

Oh yeah forgot...Jim Fux sux

Well some ducks fans are not so great either. Most of them are little children crying because the last Paros's porn stash was sold out and women who are totally clueless of what's going on. Face it, there are some crappy fans on both teams.

Yes we know, it seems however more Ducks fans have faced that reality.

I just think you guys got worse and we got better. Dallas did nothing and San Jose lost some depth as well in Toskala and Hannan. You guys lost your captain and alternate captain and probly the two biggest leaders in your room. You still have Pronger though!

Why do Duck fans say the Kings fans are horrible, when their own fans are just as bad. I've been to many a Duck game and I see no passion in the fans. Sure there is a small "growing" core of hardcore fans, but for a team that is "apparently" soo good, and so much better than the Kings, they don't have the loyal fan base to prove it. And don't throw the useless sellout figures at me bc I've seen your games. The only time the arena is full are Kings games and Red Wings games. During the playoffs you get the all the bandwagoners who just want to be part of the winning team. Sound familiar? I can remember the Angels having horrible attendence until they won the World Series. And now look, everybody in the OC and Anahiem is an Angels fan. Hell, the same thing happens with the Lakers. But for Duck fans to make fun of Kings fans is rediculous. At least when you go to Kings games you have fun. Sure their are rowdy people, but that is the charm of going to a game. If you're a Duck fan, and you don't like being yelled at by Kings fans..........DON'T GO TO THE GAMES. AND IF YOU DO, DON'T WEAR A DUCKS JERSEY. You're like those Muslims who act all weird in airports, and then complain when you are profiled. GUESS WHAT, YOU'RE MUSLIM, IN AN AIRPORT, I HATE TO SAY IT, BUT OF COURSE YOU'RE GOING TO BE PROFILED AFTER 9/11.

It's simple, if you want to go watch a Team with die hard fans hwo have put up with horrible management for 40 years, and who are all passionate about the game....Go to a Kings game.

If you want to take the family of 4 out for a nice evening of OC Hockey, listen to all the pg music, be surrounded by maybe 1 out of 10 people who actually know the game of hockey, and then leave the game by the 15 minute mark of the 3rd to put their kids to sleep because it's a school night.......Go to a Ducks game.

And I don't care if your team won the cup, big deal.

The bottom line is you have nothing on the Kings until you eliminate them in the playoffs.

And spliting the series with a bottom feeder like the Kings isn't realy spectacular.
"Oh, the Ducks played down to the Kings and Blue Jackets level"

See you Ducks in the playoffs

1 seed vs 8th seed.

Oh, and Todd Bertuzzi.

He will return to his form when he was on the Nucks.

He has to, I mean a Duck fan said it, so it must be true.

Man this is the best off-season thread ever. Bitter Kings fans crawling out of the woodwork bragging about their great (losing) history and trying to tell us that Ducks are no better until they have beaten the Kings in a play-off series.

For 2 months there were really no Kings fans here except those congratulating Ducks but now some of the juvenile Kings fans who got tired of crying in fetal position feel some sort of need to talk about their feelings.

Where's Dr. Phil when you need him the most?

I just love this!

ps. I feel kinda sorry for those true Kings fans who are probably ashamed of seeing some of their fellow fans crying here.

A King fan was the one that actually started bashing the Duck's fan base. Saying that we have nothing on the Kings is an understatement, the Kings have been around for 40 years and are yet to achieve everything the Ducks have achieved already in just 14 years. I am almost certain any King fan will trade their 40 year history for a cup, that's how big of a deal the cup is. I don't care if we lose all of our season games against the Kings, as long as the end result is the same as last season's.

And this is why your management and ownership feeds you garbage and collects your money with no true plan year after year. They love guys like you. And you love them. You're in love.

Except the whole, "we did in 14 years what you couldn't do in 40" thing. It's even worse than that, though. 3 time conference finalists, two time conference champs, stanley cup champs, best point total ever for a west coast team. The Ducks over a 3-season span have exposed the Kings franchise as the absolute farce that it is. Maple Leaf fans, when faced with chants of "1967", can at least look back on history. The Kings can only survey the wasteland of their past and point to the dubious "tradition" that is inherent in the weight of passing years, but there's no substance to it. You support an empty dream.

No, but - and this is the really salient point that you keep skipping over - we won the Cup. There's no asterisk for phoning in a game against the league's worst team midseason. Sorry.

Cup.

But apparently thats a detail easily overlooked in L.A., so I wouldn't feel too bad about it.

For all the Ducks did it in 14 while the Kings have yet in 40 and all that, who is to credit and/or blame? the players? the GM? the coach? the trainers? I certainly hope not the fans (in blaming of course)!

This coming from a Kings' fan is hilarious. A lot of your guys thought Chokemanek was going to be your goalie savior. Then Roenick was a great signing and then Cloutier. HAHA.

That's an interesting statement. You don't think Anaheim has anything over the Kings? I suppose a Stanley Cup is meaningless. It's only the biggest trophy in hockey. It's only something that hockey players dream of winning from the time they are kids until they win it, and then they want it again, and again. I'm not the kind of person to talk **** on other teams, but give me a break. You're don't really believe the crap you're spouting, do you? It must have been tough to be a Kings fan last season for you to make a statement like that. Had it been the Kings who won the Cup, you'd be on cloud nine, and likely rubbing it in the faces of as many Ducks' fans as you can find. You would most certainly consider it something that the Kings have over the Ducks.

You're right. Anaheim didn't beat the Kings soundly this season. Does that mean that Anaheim wasn't a much better team than the Kings this season? Well, let's see... the Kings were at the bottom of the Western Conference, and the reason Anaheim didn't have to beat them to win the Cup was because, surprise, the Kings didn't make the playoffs. The Ducks have three banners going up this upcoming season. The Pacific Division Champions, the Western Conference Champions, and the Stanley Cup Champions. If that's not a sign of a successful season, and clearly a vastly better season than the Kings, then I don't know what else to say.

I'm glad the Kings look like they could make the playoffs next season. I'd love to see both Anaheim and LA duke it out to see who moves on. But don't kid yourself... Anaheim, at this moment, has plenty over the Kings right now. The question is, will it last?
