Stick flex question

I'm looking to buy a stick online and I already went to a local shop and found the one I want. The only question I have is about the flex. Is it that the higher the number, the stiffer the stick? Ex: 100 flex or 85 flex, wich one is more stiff? Thanks in advance.

Your height makes a difference - if you are planning to cut a stick down you may have some issues.

Flex also helps with the whip of the puck pending on what you want and your weight as well so you dont snap it.
