Hunter to coach Maroon.

It's official (I know, it's been a few days - officially).

Maroon to play with the likes of Akim Aliu, Sergei Kostitsyn and possibly Sam gagner and/or Kane. With Hunter coaching him and his conditioning changed, can he become an NHL'er?

Isn't Kostitsyn too old to be back in the OHL this year?

In other words, become an ultra Maroon?

Correct. He'll be in Hamilton, most likely.

If Maroon is on the top line, he'll get a ton of ice time. If he's on the 2nd line, he has a chance of getting decent ice time. Other than that, he'll be sitting more than he's playing.

His best chance at getting decent ice time is (a) if Kane sticks with Chicago and/or (b) he clicks with Gagner on the 2nd line.

He won't learn anything but offense, but he could do very well in London.

I'll grudgingly report on his progress -- I hate his freakin' team, but I'll do my best!

He's with a successful team that wins games and scores a lot of goals.
