Ahhhhh....I saw both shows in Philly at the old Rectum (Spectrum). Was a huge Metallica fan at the time (hate them now after they stopped doing drugs and the Napster thing). I must say though that Queensryche absolutely blew them out of the building both nights. I never saw a better live band than Queensryche until I saw Tool.

Funny, I was just listening to Empire yesterday. Awesome CD.

The Metallica set was incredible though. Their mock of the Statue Of Liberty completely falling apart at the end of the show was awesome.

actually, it was an ice skating incident.
My friend (who is a Mark Martin fan) actually punched a wall and bruised/swelled up his hand after the Daytona 500..

so what was the diagnosis? was it your wrist or your elbow? did you get it x-rayed?

i got hit with a puck right off a faceoff last night...it hit between where my elbow pads end and where my gloves start. for the rest of the game it hurt like crap when the edge of my glove touched it. lovely bruise now yay. and another game tonight!

oops hockey talk...

You should stay away from the moshpit next time.

I can't stand Suicidal Tendencies but Institutionalized is fun to play on GH.

I hear they work twice as good if you mix them with alcohol and heavy machinery.

The Wreckers broke up. My favourite country band. Now Michelle Branch & Jessica Harp are going to do solo albums.

Country bands breaking up, metal mania nostalgia trudging on, Cobain vigils being reminisced, numerous prescription drugs hiding out in the medicine cabinet...

Yep, seems like everything's still in order here.
