GDT: Flyers vs Panthers 1/2

I guess i'll start it since noone else did. After the Flyers' win in St.Louis by the score of 7-2,they traveled to Florida beach for some R&R. Maybe this will somehow benefit this team, and put us back on the winning road.

Flyers 4(Gagné,Fedoruk,Comrie,Handzus)
Panthers 1(Jokinen)

This should be an easy win. Although, stranger things have happened. The rest of the year we will be looking for another 13 game unbeaten streak. One loss here and there will not be acceptable. It was only 20 years ago we went undefeated for 35 games. What has been wrong since? lol.

agreed.

as long as this team comes out to play we should win. Florida has the players to turn the tables on us so it's going to be important to come out jumping and play sharp.

LET'S GO FLYERS!

What's with the 5:00 p.m. start?

Anyway, they need to come out strong to avoid a let down after a big win in St. Louis.

Comrie is really making his pressence known since he started playing for us. 2 goals tonight already, a nice little point streak oing and Prims out for a while - Clarke is looking like a genius!

With Hackett in gaol for us and Luongo minding net for them, that's a bold statement! Hope your right.

did Hackett actually play good, or did Florida just make him look good?

Hackett was good, but our defence sucked tonight. I don't think i've ever seen such sloppiness in our own zone... Bundy wasn't playing, so there's no excuse. On a positive note, Comrie is a threat everytime he hits the ice, the kid just makes things happen out there, great to see.
Leclair should be 4th line and in no way shape or form should play with JR and Tony.

Hackett was OK - a post and a diving clear by Willy saved two goals and two points.
Brashear was a NON factor again and Feds gets no ice time.
I have not heard crap one regarding Lappy, but get some therapy and meds going and get him back ASAP. Usually depression (if that is what is really the issue) should make significant strides in 4 weeks.
Rags looked bad on a couple of giveaways and Weinrich looked slower than usual.

I just don't get it with this team. This is a team that can be dominant one game, and barely escape with the shirts on their back the next game. This is the most bi-polar team I've ever seen. I know that it isn't spring time yet, but there should be no reason why we don't steamroll these teams like Florida, Washington, Pittsburgh, etc......I'll say it once again. This team has no balls. When push comes to shove, this team cowers away. You know who this team needs? Brett Hull. I'd guarantee that if he were on the team, there would be no way that the team is as wishy washy as it is. I'd figure Gagne or Williams would step up by now, but it's clear that they are no more than passengers on the Orange and Black Express. Well, at least we have Comrie and we can look forward to when Carter and Richards don the orange and black.
