Nedved!!!!

Great pass from Messier, who waited for Nedved to get out of the box.

Well conceived "end of penalty-kill breakaway goal play" by coaching staff.

Nice goal by Petr, but great pass by Messier.

Happy with the lead, huge goal by Nedved... Pens have been pounding it on, and im not happy we've been outplayed for most of this game, but sometimes your goaltender has to be the best player to win a game. But, we have to go out in the 3rd and just play defense first, the Pens have lots of trouble scoring, and if we make them rush 200 feet up ice everytime, we should be ok.

The goal being disallowed had nothing to do with Rucinsky being in the crease. It was interference with the goaltender that caused the goal to be disallowed.

I don't think I'm going out on a limb here to say that the Penguins have been outplaying the Rangers for the majority of the game. Towards the end of the second we started to look like our usual selves though. Really hoping we can come out in the third and get a couple past Markkanen. He's looked pretty good today.

And who is that Messier kid?

it SHOULD have been goaltender interference, resulting in a penalty. But the ref ruled it that a player was in the crease, so the rangers wouldnt get a penalty along with the disallowed goal. Thats what Sam and JD said.
