Just horrifying. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the area. Can't imagine what the atmosphere at the Twins game is like.

I'm good, but it just missed one of my employees by less than five minutes. He'd just driven over that bridge on his way back to the office. Another employee has a son who works road construction, and she knew he was working somewhere on 35W today but didn't know exactly where. She couldn't reach him on his cell phone, and neither could his wife. She just called me a few minutes ago to tell me that they'd finally gotten ahold of him, but she was just sick with fear for a couple of hours.

Terrible thing. Looks like about 6 dead so far, with more bodies yet to be recovered. Not sure how many, but unless it turns out to be a bunch (which doesn't seem at all likely at this point), it's going to be a miracle that more weren't killed. Looking at those pictures, I would never in a million years believe that anyone got out of it alive. Seems funny to say we caught a break, but damn, this could have been so much worse.

Prayers are with you from TN. I've been in shock over the images.

My husband who is a truck driver called me to try and find out what had happened but I was learning it from him. I immediately turned on the national news and couldn't believe my eyes.

Again I pray that as many ppl who can be saved were. God's speed to you all.

I feel horrible. Those people didn't even do anything wrong, they were just innocently driving along the bridge and now there's dead people and people hurt.

Well, if it makes anyone feel any better, some of them were probably speeding.

In a construction zone? I doubt it.

Wow, being from Pittsburgh--we have the 2nd most bridges of any city in the world after Venice--this is one of the last things I expect to happen when going about a routine trip downtown. What a terrible and most unexpected way to die...

I hope everyone is alive and well. I don't care who is to blame for this; such a *preventable* disaster on a major thoroughfare should never even come close to happening.
