I don't get it. He doesn't even play for the Devils. What does this have to do with the Devils?

Perhaps the poster is a Devils fan and would like to have him on his favorite team? Not too hard to understand.

Whatever. The post makes him seem like he's Devils' property. Not too hard to understand.

Jonas Hoglund will be in the NHL before Sergei Berezin.

Yep, but apparently just for you. Besides being completely pointless, your post seems to have come long after this thread was dead. Nice post padding, though.

if we were'nt so stacked we could use him.

Um... no we don't. Been there, done that. Our roster got better the day we let him go. He basically played 4th line and an occasional shift on the 2nd or 1st and little PP time. The Caps are starving for defensemen and tougher defensive play from the forwards... and we've got a plethora of grinders that are head and shoulders above Berezin in terms of defense. Besides, Hanlon loves hard workers and hustle from his players... Berezin is devoid of both.

Maybe we should have a pool. Who's the first former Hab seive to get an NHL job again; Audette, Berezin, Kovalenko or Hoglund.

I could see Audette being signed at the FA signing deadline by some team that is a Cup contender and is looking for some veteran experience with a little bit of scoring touch. The rest are future Euro-league fixtures.

maybe Audette resurfaces in Atlanta??

last stop he was actually good in... and Atlanta seems to have a way with these kind of players ... maybe they can turn him around the way of Savard, or Petrovicky??

I'm thinking that despite Calgary needs offence badly, Darryl Sutter is not even remotely interested in Sergei Berezin
