Philly-Atlanta proposal

http://www.hfboards.com/showthread.p...647#post855647

ATL: D- Seidenberg, 2nd '04, 2nd or 3rd in '05
PHI: C- Aubin, W- McEachern

The Flyers get a center that could center the 3rd or 4th and therefore Philly could move Handzus up the center chart. I include ShawnMac, because of another deal. He's an experience player and a good leader, who will replace Gagne.
The Birds get a NHL-experienced puck moving D-man back and 2 high picks.

What do my Thrashers fans think?

Seidenberg is one tough D. He also moves the puck quite well. I had the opportunity to meet him after a Philly/ATL game last season and he was really cool. He's not that big, but he is really really strong. The trading of Shawny Mac is a big discussion on the team board. I think he needs to go. Aubin is a face off specialist and speedster. I love having him on the team, but I agree that he could be used as trade-bait. I'd rather trade Stefan away than Serge. My 2 pennies worth.

No from a Flyers standpoint.

Drop the picks, that is McEachern for Seidenberg, and it makes perfect sense IMO. Aubin has little value.

Of course you're going to get support from Thrashers fans, it clearly is meant to favor Atlanta.

Yeah what's the point of doing it from a thrashers fans standpoint when it's obviously ridicolously biased towards them?
