Or.........his value is sky rocketing.

No denying how solid he's been lately.

I know! It's been great seeing Brew take guys down like that! If they try to get themselves into position to shoot, Brewer will just run right over them! Thats what I like to see!

FRIKKIN PRINCIPE

It's suddenly a 5 on 3 against the Oilers after a disallowed goal.

Uhhhhhm........let's go to Gene with George Laraque.

So passes and bodies are flying everywhere and Gene askes a question.

Salos flying around like a fish on the screen......Gene asks a couple more question to George.

Let's have a long interveiw with George Laraque during the most exciting part of the BROADCAST.

We don't want to show what could be the TURNING POINT of the game.

Just ask questions until the next commercial break Gene.

Lynch has looked pretty good, but I don't think I've seen him out here in the 3rd.

OT - anyone else notice the post counters not working?

Injury

Did anyone get injured. In the play-by-play, it mentions injury. Any help would be helpful.

Robidas was injured from a slash by Smyth. It wasn't called, and the Isbister scored a few seconds later.

Jersey, Isles and Philly next....damn. The Oilers haven't won on Long Island forever.

Well we got 4 out of a possible 12 points in our pockets. Let's hope Salo continues to stand on his head but for all three periods.

MacT puts Oates out for the draw with 35 seconds left in the Oiler zone with Passmore pulled. He won the draw but the Oilers turned it over.

Then Staios had 2 Hawks laying on the ice in front....and kept pushing them down everytime they tried to get up, like they were prisoners. It was hilarious.

Of course there is.

It's so unnecessary though.

It's just annoying and a distraction. I like the excitment of hearing the announcers and hearing who the players are if it's too hard/fast to see.

But what bothers me the most is he KEEPS asking questions long after he should have wrapped up already. He gets perfect chances to wrap and doesn't.

Turning point of the game.....

Terrific win, especially considering the awful start. Hemsky gets an assist, but he had a miserable game imo. Ferguson stepped up huge on that 5x3, and Brewer is approaching the stratosphere.

It's alot to ask, but if they could put the boots to NJ tomorrow night (by "put the boots to them" I mean an OT win), this trip might begin to take on epic proportions.

i even agree...hemsky did not look good at all...and horcoff was great...he set up 2 goals (lucky as it may be)...and was very good on the PK...you may want to save this post...you might never hear it again

Even a tie tomorrow in this back to back would be a good foundation for the Oilers to start a streak with.

One can only hope.

It may have to be Salos best game of the season.

Icetimes for our dmen:

Brewer 27:31
Staios 28:56
Semenov 24:15
Luoma 13:43
Lynch 6:04
Ferguson 17:17

Tonight MacT played the heck out of our top 3 dmen... I'm not sure how much they'll have in the tank against New Jersey. He's certainly going to have to play Lynch more than 6 minutes next game I would think.

Morley Scott just said on the radio that Cross took the pregame warnup today and that he is close but just didn't feel right tonight. Possible for tomorrow. Keep in mind back spasms are a tricky phenomina. he get all of the sudden feel great or not be able to bend over and tie his skates - who knows. Hopefully he can go. Too much pressure and ice time on the top 3 tonight.
