Skins and varicose veins

Anyone here know much about the two?

I've got a genetic tendency to develop varicose veins, and have thought of wearing skins pants to perhaps help with prevention maybe. I've already found that ever since starting hockey, perhaps I see them developing more. There's no way I'm ever giving up hockey but it would be nice to try and prevent or slow them down!

I believe you have to be careful with the type of compression pants you wear if you have this tendency.

Hope someone knows about them!

It runs in my family too...but from what I've heard from my dad who has been seeing the DR about it and also from this experience, most compression won't help unless it's like really tight. Best thing you can do after being on your feet and stuff is to elevate your legs and have a nice soak too afterwards.

you really shouldn't soak in a hot tub before or directly after a game
