workout, shoot very very often.

this summer i made a platformin my backyard to place on the sand(live at the beach) and shot into my brothers LAX net. shot maybe 100-200 pucks at a time 2 or 3 times a week?

i think it helped alot.

Search youtube for videos of Kovalev. There are some where he shows you how to take proper shots. Best wrist shot in the NHL.

You can watch all the videos you want and it won't make a difference if you don't practice.

You want a great shot. Go out and shoot 500 pucks a day.

Outside the obvious practice practice, work out your triceps, they are key. After you feel comfortable, make sure your stick is right for you. I used to used a high flex stick with high lie, then I worked out a bunch this summer and it's too flexy, I can barely get a shot off. Now I use a 100 flex, low lie stick and it's done wonders, I have to work on keeping it down. So yeah, triceps, practice, stick. Those are the keys to a good shot, just makes sure you don't neglect your game or you'll never be able to use it hahaha.
