The hockey world is rocked at its foundation.

The face of the game will never be the same again!

Hey, they said that after Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre was dealt from Columbus, but surprisingly the NHL did survive. Only time will tell, I suppose.

didn't even know Corso wasn't with the Blue's organization anymore. IMO Ottawa gets the better half of this deal. Tapper is a gutsy young guy who chips in with timely goals. given the chance, he could claim a regular spot.

Tapper: 14 goals in 71 career games. Not bad at all.

I don't know if I am alone 'bout this but doesn't Tapper play very similar to Mike Knuble of the bruins?

Five of which went in off his backside while he was playing with Ilya.

He's a depth guy, nothing more. Problem is that after a good college career, he couldn't get his head around that and ended up a chronic malcontent. Snyder's death did nothing to improve his outlook.

This was a move to try to add by subtracting.

Tapper is a solid grinder. Good grit and he is not afraid to get his nose dirty in front of the net. Most of his NHL goals were of the garbage variety.

He was very good friends and roomates with Dan Snyder in Chicago(AHL), this could be a brand new start scenario for him.
