I know. For about a two week stretch he was winning about 55-65 % of his faceoffs consistently every night. Better than or at least equal to Oates game in and game out.

MacT is going to kill those two... period. This just oozes of an injury waiting to happen... You'd think MacT would understand that and start evening out the minutes more.

This is a really gutty performance.

They didn't get in until 3 this morning, and they don't seem sluggish at all out there... in fact, the Oilers are making the Devils look like they played the night before.

All these penalties in the third are going to be the end of the Oil lead.

Mac T does'nt have a choice, who's he going to ride? Who can he trust?
This team is in a hole he has to ride his best players to make the playoffs. No one really wants to see Ferguson plying 18-20 min a night.

At least we got a point. And it was our 1st OT loss. Good effort tonight.

What a joke our defensive coverage was on the Devils winning goal!

We let Gomez dipsy doodle like he was skating around pylons.

Brutal....

P.S. Yeah, I am happy with the point, but this was a game we should have had 2!

I'll take the point.. Ulanov looked really good, won almost every battle he was involved in! I'd like to see Luoma in next game for Bergeron..

The Edmonton Stonehands at it again. The game should have never went to overtime. Smyth, Isbister, York, they all had grade A chances and didn't capitalize. If Lowe is even thinking of making a deal, he needs to get a finisher 'cause god knows the Oilers don't have one.

Yeah, I get the fact that they got in late and that it was the 2nd game of a back to back. Fact is, the Oilers should have won the game.

I thought Ulanov played great. Got stiffed on that bogus penalty. He had a very good night.

Yeah yeah... they should have won this one. But if they did, there would have been more than a few shocked people on here. If it wasnt for
a bad combination of Oilers allowing NJ endless puck cycle at 15:22 and a 100% screened Salo, this would have been a win. Ill take the point and feel satisfied.
Now we have 2 days to get ready for NYI and try to settle the defence question (Ulanov really looked good, saved a sure goal in the 2nd....But Luoma deserves to play)

I think we have a pretty good chance on Long Island for once. They'll be tired after their win against the Shames tomorrow.

Feels like a tie for me.

2 points woulda been nice, but lastnight , if you told me the Oilers were going to get an OTL point in the second of back to back against the Stanley Cup champs...........I would have been pretty happy.

As dumb as it sounds the OTL might not give them too much of a high going into their next match. Not that this team ever lets themselves get too high after a big win though......lol.

Of course the 2 points would have been far better, but the OTL doesn't feel much worse compared to skating to a tie.

The point they lost to an eastern team means absolutely nothing. A win would have been great but I am not unhappy with what amounts to a tie.

I was happy with the way they played tonight.

Yup, the Oil just played 3 games on the road in 4 nights and come out with 5 of 6 possible points, and the otl point that they gave up went to an eastern team. The cup is definitely half full.

What if it costs us home advantage in the finals?
