The absensce of Primeau is already felt in the faceoff circle, we've lost 10 out of 12 faceoffs, so far.

This one's pretty much done. Lecavalier puts the Lightning up 4-1.

Not good. Prims has def been missed. TB layin one on them.

Their passes have been off all night and the defense and goaltending hasn't been good at all.

wasn't St.Louis claimed off waivers a few years ago, I remember seeing him play for Calgary when he was a rookie

He played for 2 seasons with Calgary, and was released as a UFA from waivers.

How can Comrie be so brilliant passing in the offensive zone, and at the same time be completely inept in his defensive zone passing?

A total and complete *ss kicking. We were dominated in every aspect of the game of Hockey. They were faster, tougher, more skilled and more determined. No one stepped up in any way. Again we continue to grub around the net, hoping to poke one in under a pad and our opp. comes streaking through our defensive zone with highlight real scoring chances.
Even if we had played better defense -- one goal won't win many games, even in today's NHL. Simultaneously no offense and no defense -- that almost takes a concerted effort to accomplish!

I'll say it once and for the last time. When times get tough, this team doesn't have enough heart, guts, or balls to find a way to win. You'd figure that with Primeau going to miss significant time, someone would step up and take a much needed leadership role on this team and deliver the goods. Nobody on this team took the bull by the horns. While I won't say the team needs a complete overhaul, we do need some players in here who bring a bit of a swagger and a bravado with them that when things do get tough, they are willing to put things on the line and carry a team on their backs. It's a shame really. All this talent and not one ounce of heart, guts, or balls for that matter.

Don't over react TOO much.

It was one bad loss.

It's not an issue of being a typical Philly fan or that I'm doom and gloom 100% of the time. All what I'm saying is that this team can use someone with a bit of guts and balls when things get tough. Every year, it's always the goaltending or it's a coach or whatever it is when this team doesn't perform. I'm tired of no one pointing at the forwards on this team. We have forwards on this team who just aren't willing to pay a price to win. Primeau being hurt and no one stepping up in his absence is just an example of how nobody on this team is prepared to do what it takes to win. I've been a Flyers fan for years and years and stuck with them through the good and the bad. However, I'm beginning to get tired with this team. I'm beginning to get tired with talented forwards who aren't willing to make sacrifices to do whatever it takes to win. I'm tired of forwards who always point the blame elsewhere. I'll say this. Last year, when Esche played bad, you never heard him make an excuse about why he played bad. He accepted responsibility. If any of the forwards on this team had even an iota of the guts he has to say such things, then maybe I'd have a whole new respect for the forwards on this team. As it stands, not one forward will say that they had a bad game. It's always the system that was used or that they played a hungrier team type garbage. For once, I'd like to see someone on this team challenge the rest of the team to start playing hard and to quit pissing around. That's what I'm mad about. So much talent, so little heart.

The Flyers have arguably the most forward depth in the NHL. They all will take a hit to make a play and are almost unbeatable when they forecheck. It's a rarity to see them go into the corners and it not be a Flyer that emerges with the puck. Just about every Flyer forward has at least an average two-way game. You sound so spoiled it's absurd. Instead of complaining about it you should be grateful you get to watch such a talented team for at least 82 games this season.
