new to the board

hi, im new to the boards and im a diehard philladelphia fan. What a terrible season we had. let's hope that Daniel Briere can turn this team around i think he was a great signing he's in his prime so that's good. And yes ive been there in 1995 when we lost to the devils in 5,1997 when we lost to Detroit after playing so good against the rangers, 2000 when lindros got knock out.so many dissapointments, lindros included what could of been of this guy so much talent wasted.anyway lets just hope that we can atleast hit the playoffs this year.Go philly go.

Welcome welcome. Just a little advice, listen a bit more than you speak until you get to know the names and faces (avatars, hehehe) and you'll be much better off. There are some differences of opinions on certain players between certain posters that it's just better to stay out of the debate. Good luck here and we're happy to have more Flyers fans.

95' was in 6 games. I still remember that series so vividly.

Anyway, welcome to the board, we're normally a fun bunch, but we like to argue with each other quite a bit. Last season, despite the misery, it was still relatively fun around here, and it's always really active durring the season.

Welcome to the asylum!

We probably had more fun here during the hell that was last season than most of the teams that were winning.

Here's hoping we have as much fun without the hell this year!

Hmmm....I don't recall that series. Ironically, I smashed a TV screen with my skull around that time. That would explain a lot.

Welcome, Philla.

Welcome...nice to see a new poster that introduces themselves instead of making 500 ridiculous trade proposals on their first day.

Welcome, Philla.

Well, I kicked a hole in my front door during one game I got so mad (2 years ago) and it was the middle of winter. I had to do a quick repair job on the broken wood and put plastic over it to keep the wind out until I could do a proper repair job on the weekend. Having to have the door open for 2 hour while you fix the hole you made and having all the heat run out of the house made me re-evaluate just how seriously I took the games. Yes, I actually did learn my lesson.

Welcome aboard. This board is IMO the best for hockey fans. Most of the Flyers boards I've been to are full of disgruntled Philadelphians who are just perpetually pissed off we havent won anything in a long time. If you want good hockey talk and not just constant complaining, as well as some perspective from around the league, HF is a great place.

Hey, I resemble that remark, lol. And it was only one proposal. One VERY LONG proposal with many sub parts, but still only one proposal.

Welcome. Just don't be one of those posters who see all flyer players as future HOF. Objectivity is the one thing that these board needs more off. Other wise, enjoy the great people here!! LOL

I think you'll actually find a good deal more objectivity here than most other message boards.
