Rings

So for those of you who are married, do any of you take your wedding band off when you play? It surely doesn't get in the way does it?

I leave mine in the car. I have a wide flat band. The edges could tear into the lining of my gloves and possibly my finger or fingers. It's my top hand so the chances of anything happening are slim, but why risk it.

I leave mine at home. I'd hate to have titanium cut off my finger if it gets broken...

Probably would be better if you just cut your finger off. I don't believe wives would allow the weding ring to be cut off. Mine would be pissed.

You could play with a thumb and three fingers, anyway.

I had quit playing hockey for about 2 years. I put on enough weight in the off time that my ring doesn't fit anymore. And it has a pattern so I can't have it resized.

So I don't wear my ring when I play hockey.

Mine is titanium too. I never thought of what would happen if i broke my finger. Ack, good thing I leave it in the car.

My wife's cousin who is a firefighter, was called to the ER one night to cut off a titanium ring. He told me they went through three blades and had to cut both sides because they weren't able to open it up enoug to slide it off. True story.

I wear mine. I don't even notice I have it on.
I did break that finger a few years back wiring my house (don't ask). It did swell pretty badly to the point I couldn't take it off. Fnally some soap and creaive pulling and I was able to get it off so the swelling would go down.

I play with mine on, but being such the novice finesse player I am (sarcasm off)

I just never take mine off, I am afraid that I would probably lose my ring somewhere
