Also just because I can: I teach small korean children english, and I get to give the new kids English names of my choosing each month. This month I named kids Pru, Jags, King Henry, Cally and Marty, no joke.

hese are some of the normal names too, I inherited kids named Chickenhead, Money, Boy, F-killer (which is a popular mosquito repellant in korea) and the best? Kaiser Soze.

42" Plasma TV? Check.

HD Programming box? Check.

Center Ice subscription? Check.

This will be my first season with all of these amenities. How much weight will I gain?

The over/under right now is at 22 pounds.

In a few days, I'm going to update my sig with a countdown every day. Each day will have a new little comment about a Ranger player or something else. I think/hope you guys will enjoy it.

Finally had the time to update the main banner. Check it out.

Although, it's nothing different.. but to some, a change of a number is closer to the Rangers season so who knows.

I meant that things would be a bit less Romper Room around here, now that some of our younger members have other distractions.

ah! very good point.

Hopefully no more pointless disecting of Brian leetch trade etc, etc!

I must say, 31 days still feels a long time to me. Im glad at least the Soccer season is underway and the NFL is almost upon us. That way i might get caught up enough not too complain that the wait for training camp is too long.

And as GIA posted above, we're only 10 days away from camp. That's really when the fun starts. We'll all be salivating over the daily reports. Who's impressing...who's not. How the 3rd line center battle is shaping up...How does Staal look?

thats the 2 things im excited about most; Staal and the 3rd line spot.

I think/hope Staal will make the team from camp. I also think Avery will take the 3rd line spot. I dont think Dubi is ready or AA and Avery (though not ideally 3rd C) there allows Dawes to make the team

i wonder if anyone will be invited to camp as a tryout; like the Isles did with Berard. Im sure there might be a worth lowly paid vet who can compete for the 3rd line spot... if only to give Avery, Dubi and AA some competition.

I'm so starved I'm counting down to the 1st preseason game 2 weeks from this Friday at MSG!

it's always fun to see how the lines and pairings work out not to mention getting looks at what the future holds with the kids getting icetime.

Looking most forward to seeing Staal and Anisimov come preseason.

i hope AA is fit enough to play. He seems to be strtuggling with this knee injury from the Super series.

I love seeing how the kids develop in pre season. Dawes excited me last year. I hope he makes the team this year. Im also hoping Brodie Dupont makes an impact at camp. i think he's an intriguing prospect and could make waves.

There's just so much to look forward to its hard to wait!!!!

No competition for Avery, maybe AA and Dubi, Avery has a secured spot. I think that's what you meant though anyway.

Avery definitely has a spot. Thats without question... im just not sure if its as LW or C yet. At the moment i think its as 3rd C.... i hope so as it will allow a Dawes or other good young wing a chance to make the team.
