Mikhnov Value

Hey guys,

Oddly enough I have opportunity to trade for the big oaf (Mikhnov)in FHL.(FHL SIM, ratings based on NHL perfomance)

I have Boguniecki and Horcoff going out with Keith Tkachuk and something else coming in.

I have choice between Alexei Mikhnov and a 2004 draft pick that would end up between 33-38 OV.

Which do you prefer?

Alexei Mikhnov

or

35th Overall pick in 2004

I would have taken this to the fantasy board but they wouldn't know Alexei Mikhnov from their Uncle Fred.

Personally I'd take Mihknov. Sure he's a gamble at this point, but so is an early 2nd rounder. At least with Mihknov you won't have to wait 4 or so years to find out. IMO, an easy desicion.

depends on how long you want to wait for.
the draft pick of your choosing in 3-4 years or
Mikhnov another 2 or 3 years

personally i would want Mikhnov all that untapped potential just waiting to pop out

I'd say Mikhnov, without any hesitation.

Yeah...I just wanted to make sure that my Oiler's eye wasn't skewed to more than his value.

I am a happy guy...

Tkachuk and Mikhnov
for
Boguniecki and Horcoff

What a country.

Haha.. how did you get Tkachuk for that. You sure it's not Daniel? (and yes, I realize the spelling is a little different. )

You'd think Keith would garner more than that even if a team was looking for a rebuild... or dumping salary. But hey. All the power to a fellow Oiler fan!

Agree with the others. Mikhnov's playing well at a pretty high level, and he's still pretty young.

Did Rita ever get pt on one of the top 2 lines in Finland?
