San Jose has the good old hockey design, but screwed up with the new logo, should have kept the original shark.!
.
Are there really little baby sharks on the shoulders..?......

I think the Sharks secondary crest (the one on the shoulders) is incorrect in the game. I believe it will be the Shark fin logo which would look much better than the baby shark.

I'm trying not to be a homer here. Those Oilers jerseys are terrible. The only effort put into them was with the horizontal half-stripes on the arms, which I must admit look decent. No shoulder patches? I hope they slap something on the shoulders, an oil rig or something. While it's probably true the canucks jerseys have too much going on, I'd rather have the canucks' "too much" than the oilers' "too little."

They look like practice jerseys. Maybe it's a message that this season is "practice" for the one following it? I don't know.

The Atlanta home is fantastic, the road is weird but I think it will look good in the actual game. Even the Panthers jerseys looked good when their prospects wore them.

Well, I wouldn't be so sure of any of the shoulder patches in the game, I don't think SJ's are correct, can anyone confirm that the shoulder patches on the jerseys actually match the one's released yet??? ie. Calgary, Pittsburgh, Ottawa?

Have you got the codes for the Flyers?
The red Chicago jersey has always had the white at the bottom it's just the new shape of the jerseys that makes it stand out more.

The only real changes are the neckline and that the tomahawks are slightly higher on the arm.

I don't think the Oilers' jerseys are bad, but they aren't in my top 10 list either. The Blues home looks nice.

I'm loving the Edmonton sweaters. But you can't really go wrong with that color scheme and logo.

No they're not. You're overreacting.

I know I'm in the minority, but I find the Ducks jerseys very striking.

lol...agreed.

As for ppl giving me guff for calling them "the Lanche", you all know what i mean. Avs, Colorado, that team that had a really cool home jersey, and then ruined it, Sakic's team, its all the same...as long as you know who I mean, thats what matters.

Oh no... the Flames are one of the best of the new ones, IMO. I especially love the black, yellow, and red striping on the sides of the white jersey. And the flags are a cool idea even if they don't match the team colors.

For what? Those are what the Oilers wanted. They could have gotten what they already had, like Detroit, New York and Montreal. They chose to go with these.

Atlanta home - good job. I like it. Road - good except for the vertical stripe.

Sharks - I really like the design except for the terrible gold/yellow band. That's totally out of place.

Blues - NO!!!!! Why the vertical stripes? I love those colors, but the new look makes me sick.

Coyotes - same as before - boring.

Oilers - NO!!!!! Why the vertical stripes? Why ruin a classic jersey? I love the home colors, but those stripes are awful.

Blackhawks - thank goodness most original 6 teams got it right.

Contrary to all the off-season horror stories about "cookie-cutter" designs and all the teams looking the same, I have to say that one thing I like about these new Edge jerseys is just how many different designs there are. The only thing that really seems to have emerged as a trend is the "apron-string" piping. Beyond that, it looks like we're seeing a lot of different graphic ideas among the teams, and I think that's cool.

Those new jerseys are pretty interesting to say the least...

Good work Atlanta. I was at the first game of the Thrashers wearing their 3rd jersey (now their home jersey)...liked it then, like it now. The aesthetic changes they have made to it look great. They get my vote for one of the best transitions into the new style, and possibly they're the best jerseys so far.

Sharks...ew. All they needed to do was put their new logo on last season's jerseys, and they'd have been fine. That new orange/tan/sienna/whatever the hell you call it does NOT really match the black and teal color scheme. It looks out of place, and I'm really not a big fan of those jerseys.

The new Blues jerseys are fantastic. Even though they have the new piping, the new weird collars, and new sleeve style, they put the right colors in the right spots. Overall, another great transition. At least I will be able to recognize them this year, unlike the Sharks...

The Coyotes jerseys are ok. I long for the days of the green 3rd jersey, with the desert border on the bottom of the jersey. They made a good transition from what they had, but I didn't really like what they had before. I like all of their old stuff better, but I'll live with it. I watch the Coyotes MAYBE twice a year, so it really doesn't make a big difference to me.

I like the new Oilers jerseys (gonna make a LOT of friends w/that statement), except for those stupid half stripes near the elbows. They look like someone got board with photoshoping a jersey, and stopped half way. The half stripes are lousy, and
I can't stand them. Also, I would REALLY like the piping if it was copper...but it looks orange, like the Islanders. You could put an Islanders logo over the Oilers logo, and it would easily work for NYI. Maybe its just the way it looks on the game, but the orange on there REALLY needs to be darker, otherwise it looks like, as I said before, the Islanders.

Blackhawks jerseys are fine. Another orig. 6 team not doing something stupid, and they made a great transition. Well done Chicago.

In closing, the jury is still out on Philly...Dallas still has bad jerseys.

I am pro oilers jersey in this one. I think they are pretty sharp (esp. the dark home jerseys). I actually like the piping on the bodies and the lack of horizontal striping - I still love the now "old ones" - however, I think that the old body striping cluttered the jersey too much. Think about it this way, every Oil fan (and some dogs oddly enough) has an Oilers name T-shirt and they look sharp on people. now add the huge lines of color along the bottom, do those shirts become more appealing or less??? They are damn sharp and will look even better in full navy blue equipment.

no, its the secondary FULL BODY shark alright. The FIN logo is no where to be found on the new jersey. Bad move, imo. It would look great on those shoulders.
