We will now go on the powerplay. We better take this chance to make some damage and then regain the 2 goal lead.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this, but (aside from these past 1 and half periods), what about Julien for the Adams? I think posted it somewhere before, but he's doing a brilliant job, as Guy! pointed out in his excellent half-season report.
I really do think he has a chance if the canadien's keep it up.
He's a straight to the point guy and very knowledgable coach!

Ribeiro scores in the empty net!

3-1.

That one is in our pocket now.

Assist: Zednik.

Et voilà!

The final whistle.

The team has been disappointing in both the second and the third period. The goalies have been totally outstandings!

The 3 stars are:

3. Stéphane Quintal
2. Martin Biron
1. José Théodore

Theo is the f'in man. Give him a 2 goal lead right now and he'll take it home for ya. One year wonder?

What a great game. Both teams could have scored 5 tonite easily but both Biron and Theo were great.

3 wins in a row, 20 wins on the year, 10 pts over Buffalo, both the Bolts and Isles lose and Ryder now has a 2 pt lead on Hunter

What a nailbiting finish... glad we could pull this one off. 20th win too, something I didn't see coming at this point of the year.

I remeber when I was watching NHL2night on ESPN a few weeks ago and they talked about the teams battleing for the last playoff spots in the standings.. then Melrose and Ferraro gave they're opinion on every team and when they got to Montreal they both agreed.. no way the Habs is making the playoff this season.

Melrose thought Koivu didn't play good enough and that Theo wasn't nearly as good as in the MVP year.

And what about Buccigross, he had us last in the East in the end of the year...

Well, of course we're only at the halfmark of the season... but I'm thinking LOOOONG noses on those guys

GO HABS GO!
