You must have the NHL EHM 2005 game to play.

About the league:
The SuperSweetHockeyLeague has is about six weeks into season two. We have a solid core of about 16-20 guys, and always seem to have two-four instable franchises. We're always getting a bit stronger as we try to reach our goal of 30, strong, competitive GMs.

About the available teams

Thrashers: Last in the east. Needs work. The last to GMs should be strung up from a very high tree.
Key Players: Kovalchuk/Hossa/Savard and Holik up front. On D, things are very weak, with devries as the anchor. JS Giguere has not been good in goal.
Youngsters: Braden Coburn is playing regularly and doing okay.
Prospects: Ladislave Smid is developing nicely. First round pick James Sheppard is in juniors but could start on this team now. Thomas Pospisil is ready to come over from Europe.
Detroit: Currently in 6th in the west and second in the central
Key players: Datsyuk and Zetterberg are in their prime. Lang and Shanahan are veteran scorers. Kronwall, Numminen and Hatcher lead the D (the last guy let Lidstrom get signed to Toronto). Howard and Fernandez are the goalies.
Youngsters: Filppula and Hudler are playing well in their first full seasons. Howard is backing up Fernandez.
Prospects: Brandon Bell and Jonathan Ericsson are looking good on D in Grand Rapids. Darren Helm and Ben Maxwell are doing well in juniors.

Predators: Second in west, first in central
Key players: Legwand, Kariya and Sullivan pace the offense. Vokoun is solid in goal. Timonnen, Zidlicky and Hamhuis anchor the D.
Youngsters: Upshall and Hartnell are turning into tough wingers.
Prospects: Shea Weber looks like a future Norris contender. Ryan Parent and Cody Franson provide more depth on D. Grigori Shaffigulin is an exciting prospect at forward.

Coyotes: 13th in the west:
Key players: Nedved, Nagy, Doan and Comrie give the Yotes some firepower. Belle, Morris and Ballard anchor the D. Goaltending is weak (Conklin/LeNeveu)
Youngsters: Hanzal and Smirnov are playing for the Yotes.
Prospects: Defenseman Bob sanguinetti, forward Derek Brassard and forward Enver lisin lead the pack. Plus, the Yotes will probably have a high pick in this year's draft.

If you fancy yourself as an armchair GM (and you do, or why on earth would you be on this website arguing about who should have went where in the draft), then you need to sign up for the SSHL.

PM me with questions or just sign up on the board.
