Now that Timmo is gone, will Zidlicky be on the first pair of PP on the blueline or a youngster is expected to get the first-pairing duty?

Both?

Z will start on the 1st line with Weber or Suter (and this is where I ask if you consider Weber or Suter a youngster).

There is no way Zidlicky would start on the top defensive pairing at even-strength. On the PP, I would expect to see Zidlicky and Weber on the points with PP2 quarterbacked by a combination of Suter and maybe either Arnott, Hamhuis, deViries, or maybe a guy like Klein or Koistinen depending on who makes the team and how much ice time they get.

Then again, I could see a scenario where Zidlicky gets about 1:20-1:30 of ice time on each power play as he is a third-pairing defenseman and an offensive specialist. He doesn't touch the ice on the PK and gets maybe 10-11 minutes of even-strength time per night...so extra PP time wouldn't hurt.

Crap. I was all about talking about the PP. Sorry.

Well, my question was more about the PP anyways since it's for fantasy hockey and most points come from there.

I don't get why Hamhuis doesn't get some major time on the 1st PP.

because Suter makes better decisions when he's running the first team PP

Ville Koistinen is my darkhorse candidate to get that PP time.

How about Hamhuis, first or second pairing or no PP at all?
