I did some basic google search and i came up with that :
Mathieu Labrie is a D-Man listed as 6'1 197 on hockeydb.com(6'0 203 from the QJMHL website). He has been Carle and Beauregard teammate with the Titan for 2 years and a half. He shoots from the left and Carle from the right and they always have been 1-2 in D scoring so i assume they played together quite a bit.
He had 2 fights this past season and has been suspended for 1 game in the 06 playoffs for a hit from behind.
Moncton held a 10-6 shots edge in the scoreless second period. There was an ugly incident with six minutes remaining in the frame when Acadie-Bathurst defenceman Mathieu Labrie appeared to intentionally fire a slapshot into the Wildcats bench.
When play resumed, Wildcats left winger Matt Marquardt nailed Labrie into the boards with a heavy hit. Marquardt then manhandled him in a fight as the crowd roared with approval.
``I did take that personally when he wired that shot into our bench,'' said Marquardt. ``He had lots of time and it sure looked obvious what he was trying to do. Any time that kind of stuff happens and your team is involved, you've got to take it to heart and take care of business.
I've never followed the Habs pre-season closely before.
Does anyone know approximately how many players will be invited to Training Camp, and how the Rookies Camp fits in relation to the upcoming training camp? Also, is the Training Camp Roster the same roster that starts the pre-season games?
some players from the rookie camp will be invited to the big camp starting on the 13th. as is the case every year.... rooks who impress at the rook camp for the most part move on to the big camp
I thought Corey Locke would get a shot this year, he had a good season and great post-season in Hamilton. Anyone know why he wasn't invited to the rookie camp?
He's been there many times already guys from his draft year won't be there either ( Lapierre,Halak,Urquhart ) the only exception is O'Byrne and i guess it's because he's from the NCAA and missed some rookie camps.
