Since the end of the last season, I keep saying he'll be in the lineup. I see him on the third line with Smolinski.

I'd love to see Chips with the Habs.

He might start on the fourth. But I'm sure he's making the NHL

nice one. yeah but we know how it works if they agree and it suits there argument the french media if perfectly fine and if not well we know how that story goes. basically they cherry pick stories and info that suits there line of thought. all the rest is dismissed and not credible apparently.

I hope Chips makes the club or at least gets some games early in the season. he's the kind of player coaches love ,but never gets the credit they deserve from the casual fan or outsiders to the team.

That he'll just be a sophomore in the AHL?

Well if we think about it, our defensive line was perezhogin bonk and johnson, all 3 are gone, now we got smolinski that will prolly have a defensive role, then i believe one of kosty, tender and lappy will alternate on the 3rd line depending of the injury or their performance.

There is definatly a spot left, on the 3rd line or 4th up to grab for chipchura but imo it all depend of his performance, what if ferland or grabovski are dominant ?

I guess Ferland has a good chance because its his last chance, i expect grabovski to play a few match with the habs like kostitsyn did last year but prolly not make the team since he's a great prospect and he need ice time to devellop. And chipchura, well if he want to get the spot he will have to compete very hard and show us he deserve it.

nice... he says the right things and that's to be expected...

i like where he said that Baines was a good teacher for him and other young guys... we still have him right?

i want Chipchura to make it... i want our team to have more guts.

i will try... keep in mind i'm not French... anyhow here's the Coles Notes with some artistic freedom: (BTW feel free anyone who can fix mistakes i've made)

Chipchura one of the Habs best/brigthest prospects will participate in his 3rd NHL training camp. This year he wants to make the team

In his 1st training camp he was overwhelmed while in his 2nd he spent a lot of time trying to be respectful and avoid stepping on the vets toes. However, now, during this 3rd camp he feels things will be different. He's concentrating on working hard, playing his game, and trying to learn a bit too...

Chipchura's had a short summer since the Dogs played late into the AHL playoffs, collecting the Calder Cup. This has cut his off-season training in length. Becasue of this, he's felt he's had to accomplish his goals in a shorter period he thinks his training has been more dynamic.

In his 1st pro season Chipchura scored 12 goals and collected 39 assists in 80 games, elevating his play in the playoffs for 6 goals and 13 points in 22 games.

Chipchura learned a lot in his 1st year pro. He learned a lot about the requisite work ethic due to the step up in intensity and skill from junior. He expects a similar work ethic is needed to make the jump from the A to the NHL.

Chipchura learned the ropes and became familiar with the lifestyle of a pro Hockey Player over the course of the season. He and his room mate Ryan O'Byrne benefited a great deal from Ajay Baines veteran presence and tutelege (on and off the ice... Baines even helped them with cooking)

Chipchura played with Bianes and Ferland for the best part of the season and felt that he didn't really hit stride until after Chrismas, feeling that he palyed his best games in the post season after he learned all these ropes and lessons.

Chipchura will have to win his spot on the Habs and there is no shortage of competition with 3/4 other centres equally hungry for full-time NHL roster spots (Murray, Lapierre etc...). Chip thinks he's ready though although he recognzies he still has things to learn (he mentions improving his skating and consistency)... but he feels he's ready to help the team win.

I can only imagine what a line of chipchura-lapierre-latendresse will bring to the table one day.

You are getting tiresome.

Nobody is dismissing the entire paper as uncredible...They were dismissing Brunet's story and uncredible.

Come on. You're smarter than this.

and your not getting tiresome? geez. really nobody was calling the paper as uncredible? i seem to recall you doing just that, but not so nicely put. im sure plenty of other posters can account for it as well during the kovalev tape thing. your the last guy who should be saying something of that nature dave.

i think you may need to take more vitamins because your memory is failing, or perhaps it's just a selective memory thing.

now get of my back. you should be smarter than this.

If you don't see the difference between this situation and that one, then you're not worth debating with.

I will like the Habs new generation : Komisarek, Higgins , Chipchura , Lapierre , Latendresse , Kostitsyn ...They are going to be a lot more entertaining than the dark era 's players .

Koivu and Markov both played during the so called "Dark era". You don't find either one of them entertaining?
