Ouch.. big blow.. the Blues D is rather thin without them, good thing Pronger is totally back and Salvador is playing pretty decent.. But I expect them to trade for a defenseman, perhaps someone like McKee or even the rumoured Brewer..

St.Louis had such an awesome start this year now MacInnis and Jackman out that's really got to hurt their chance at any major success in the playoffs.

MacInnis was out at the beginning of the season, and Jackman has played less than 10 games this year. The Blues defense, or defensive depth isn't a problem, it's lack of scoring punch on the wing. If anything, the Blues will go after help in that area.

We haven't played him for most of season and the D has been fine. Right now, we can't score and are in a bit of a hard stretch. WE need to get some bounces and get the energy we had in early December back into the game. Fans are screaming for trades, but I think we will wait out the storm.

Bad times in a season is something that all teams go though. It is something that Detroit has gone though, the Aves have gone though, the Canucks have also been in a bit of a lull.

For the opposing team maybe. He's been awful. I don't expect him in a Blues sweater for very much longer.

He is supposed to be a super-bright guy. What's the deal with his poor decision making on the ice? No hockey sense, I suppose.

It sucks that his season is over.

This is the hit that ended it all:

The reports say that it's the other shoulder, not the one that was injured in that hit.

I know thats a joke and I understand that but now that means that it will be even more difficult to get that Jackoff out of the lineup.

He is a candy ass, he bails on plays all the time and will get rid of the puck blindly just to avoid hits. If you wont take a hit to make a play it is haed to be a good D-man in this league.

My god, Bert really knocked the life out of him in that hit didn't he ?

Sucks for the blues, Jackman was a great up and coming young d-man.

Soooo, Big Bert has taken out McInnis, Jackman. Allen has taken out Zetterburg, Hatcher. Jovo destroyed Deadmarsh.

Who's next for the Canucks :p

Correct... well, maybe. If the swelling was down enough, the MRI was today. If not, it will be tomorrow.

You're right, what goes around comes around. Which is why Jackman got absolutely laid out by Bertuzzi.

Exactly. That's why Lindros eventually accumulated a whole collection of concussions. That's why power forward types do not last long or regularly play 50-60 games a season. I am quite curious to see if this will catch up with Big Bert. On one hand, I am sure he has pissed off quite a few players and they would like to have their revenge. On the other, it's easier said than done in this case

If ANY St. Louis Blue can injure Bertuzzi with a CLEAN hit, like how Bertuzzi left Jackman lying on the ice with a CLEAN hit, then I will bow to you and your cheap shot team.

First of all, don't get your panties in a bunch.

Secondly, I've seen Bertuzzi try to injure players more times in one game than I have the Blues all season long. Just because it's legal, that doesn't mean there's no intent.

Third, learn the definition of cheap. Until the Weight 'elbow' last week, every single thing that a Blues player had done was reactionary and was far from something premeditated. Marchment is cheap. Tkachuk has a temper. There is a difference.

Forth, are you Canucks fans EVER going to quit whining about Weight crosschecking Sedin? You've injured 2 or our 3 best defensemen. Get over it already.

And last of all, I don't care when or how Bertuzzi does get injured, I can guarantee you that I'll enjoy every bit of it.

Last year, you had spaz boy Tyson Nash, Tkachuk sometimes goes out on shifts not wanting to play hockey, but hurt somebody smaller than him. He's a big anus. Weight has been all about the stickwork since his days in Edmonton. Pronger likes to sneak in hard, abrubt slashes to unsuspecting forwards. Osgood is a cheater. Cheating is cheap. Moving the net off before a goal goes in is cheap. Barret Jackman, don't get me started. Any forward that is shadowed by him goes how with about 65 stick shaped bruises across his wrists, which IS against the rules, by the way.

As for your Bertuzzi getting injured comment, it hasn't happened yet, but I smile ear to ear when your made of glass "Big 3" defensman crumble when they see him.

News Flash: Bertuzzi had a whole FOUR points in 7 games vs. the Blues in the playoffs.

Doesn't quite support your claim that the Blues' defensemen crumble, now does it?

Next time I'd at least take 20 seconds to look up the numbers before running your mouth.
