Buffalo responds with a solid performance in all 3 periods to squeak out a 4-2 win.

Satan 2 (PP, EN), Afinogenov, Brown

4-2, Flyers. Peters tries to get Brashear to go and gets goaded into a penalty because Donald once again skates away. Then Fedoruk obliges and the two fight it out in a back and forth brawl. And those are my predictions.

Fedoruk likely won't play, due to Kapanen returning to the line-up. Plus, he will only fight if he has to, since his face isn't fully healed. So don't get any hopes up for fights tonight guys, especially not from Brashear.

Esche is on my fantasy team, but somehow i can't get to my lineup...

I just don't see us winning this game.

oooo peters whimped out on that one, though it was a smart move
i think he was a little hesitant because brashear had an advantageous position were they to drop
brashear was all squared off and peters was still gaining his balance and close to the boards

Peters already knew Brashear had his gloves dropped and was throwing punches so he calmly fell down and then skated away for a PP.Smart play.

Much better 2nd period but the "offensive" Sabres were a fluke. They're still the offensively challenged team that we have had for the past 7 years.

Almost got it...

Not a great game but AT LEAST they played a pretty physical game and didn't let Philly push them around too badly.

And another 1 goal effort.....

I think it's time to get rid of Brian Campbell.Another crappy game.I noticed they didn't score on the PP, mainly because Pyatt didn't play.Pyatt is really soft on the PK, never pressuring the Defenseman, often letting them scoring.I think when Pyatt comes back, if he does it again, scratch him for a game or two.Kalinin played another great game, and right now I think he's our #2 d-man and a top 4 around the league.

biron played well but that goal he let in was soft, just like the one last night that bounced. I just think he's too darn slow in the net.

anyone else catch danny gare say that detroit gm or scouts have been at sabre games alot recently, maybe a deal for cujo, he said maybe send zhitnik and a goalie.

Cujo will NOT get this team to the playoffs. I might actually impose an extended probation period upon myself as a Sabres fan if that deal went down.
