If you're going to go into TGO's house and steal something, there HAS to be something in there better than the keys to a Navigator.

You can steal a Navigator from anyone.

I'm sure he had a few things that you could only steal from Wayne Gretzky.

I'd have stolen his toothbrush. Do you know how much people pay for that weird **** on eBay?! Find some chewing gum and something else that's just weird and you've got like $15,000 right there.

THEN you steal the car.

All the more reason not to take them, if you want to remain anonymous.

If I'm sneaking into someone's house, I'm not going to peruse the memorabilia. I'm taking what I can grab. If I'm lucky enough to swipe the keys of a $35,000 SUV, I'd consider it a successful heist.

Was just going to say that, not to mention in the article itself it said his home was unlocked. I'm surprised more wasn't taken.

So a common thief did what no goalie in the NHL could?

Impressive!

I was just estimating, but you're way off. The list price is around $45,000, and given the depreciation after a couple years, I'm not off any more than a couple grand.

Say what?!?!?!? A pimped out Hummer wouldn't even get up to 80 grand. Lebron's hummer didn't even cost that much.

Would've cost 80 grand in CDN dollars about a year ago(when the dollar was at an all time low of 62 cents US). However, with depreciation, it's a lot lower now and also the Canadian dollar is up to 78 cents US.
