And probably just what he needed after getting returned to the RR after just 2 games.

Biker chicks on Mars? That reminds me of the show Biker Mice from Mars. Man, that was one weird show.

For some reason looking at Lynch's Oiler picture reminds me of Raggedy Andy.
Must be the bright red hair.

Interesting how there have been a couple of incidents lately where Lynch has gotten the nod over Woywitka to some extent. First DL gets the callup to the big team, now he's on the all-star team and JW isn't.

I'm not trying to start a flame war here, the two kids are probably good friends and if there's a gap between the two in talent it's as small as could be. This is just a surprising turn of events because it seems to me that most people around here firmly believed that Woywitka was a step ahead of Lynch. Woywitka was also drafted higher and made the wjc team while JL didn't.

Watched them both play in Red Deer 3 /4 years and both were so equal in talent, but Lynch is tougher, more mature and a real leader and I think will play pro before Woywitka. Lynch has much better stats so far this year than Woywitka to back it up.

I became a big Doug Lynch fan, but Wowyitka is right there too and I like the way he plays as well. These two guys will be the in the top four for the Oil in a few years, but right now Lynch is the stronger pro.

Part of it has to do with the fact that Lynch is put out all the time. There aren't many defencemen on the Runners with NHL regular potential, and so Lynch gets to play all the time.

Strike that with Wyowitka, who played on a Philly farm team that had I think 2 or 3 guys ahead of him (all of them older though). Lynch has done better, but it's partially because he was put in a better position to get good stats.
