Seriously, jerseys beyond 66 and 29 are rare to find. Kovalev used to have tons of jerseys and people still wear them quite a bit.
When I went to the game in Pittsburgh vs Atlanta last month(the one Atlanta lost) I was telling my friend that same thing "Wow, I don't see any jerseys that don't say lemieux or Fleury." I think eventually I saw one.

As for the Red Wings...
1)Steve Yzerman
2)Brendan Shanahan

Yeah the fox sports game I saw on TV a few weeks ago there were a TON of Kariya jerseys. I think Anaheim fans don't want to waste all the money by throwing the jersey in the fire. After all it still has the Duck emblem on the front. I can't talk. I still walk down to the shop with my Kariya top on acting all Canadian

I would say Alfredsson, Lalime and Hossa are probably the most popular here in Ottawa.

A few people still walk around with Yashin jerseys

I love you Vladdy!!!! lol..

Anyways, I'm gonna go with eSabre on this one for Buffalo.. those are the ones I've noticed a lot of as well.. Satan is key though...

In Toronto.. I noticed there are still a lot of Felix jerseys. It's kinda cool.. and Gilmour is big there.

In Montreal.. it's definately Theodore.

I was just going to post this, but whenever I go to games, it's been Cloutier's jersey I see the most on peoples backs. Cloutier, then Bertuzzi or Jovanovski. In Vancouver, the North American-born stars get much more 'love' from the fans it seems. I see Linden and Naslund fairly often too.

well for one, Cloutier is one of the most popular Canucks with the ladies (puckbunnies) because he's good looking. second of all, he's our goaltender, so he'll automatically get a lot of jersey's sold. third, he's been great for us for 2 seasons now, and arguably our MVP at this point, despite the crap people that don't know anything about it (like you) say.

wondering why Sabres fans are always the ones to bash Cloutier i did a little investigation looking back at the games Clouts played against Buffalo as a Canuck. in those games he has a .953 Save % with a 1.33 GAA. well there goes my theory of him having bad games against them.

i was actually shocked to see very few Linden jerseys... who could very well be the most popular Canuck of all time. it was probably just where i was sitting.

Definitely Yzerman, along with Shanahan, Joseph, McCarty, and Fedorov...though I've seen a lot of different ones...Drapes and Pavel I'm sure are going to be showing up more and more.

well they do pump money into our team by purchasing Cloutier and Bertuzzi jerseys (and other merchandise), and buying tickets games.

Not the most popular, but I'll never forget the Islander fan at Nassau Coliseum wearing an Isles jersey with "1940" as the number and "RANGERS SUCK" on the name plate.

This was, of course, before 1994. Probably my favorite non-Devils jersey of all time.

Except I'm not a Sabres fan. But thanks anyways, Patricia!
