I recently got this blade after my old blade broke at a pick-up game. I have a Vapor XXX Lite, and we were playing contact (my school team) and I checked a teammate of mine to find the top of my blade snapped in half. I went to the pro shop and got this blade for $52, not sure if that was a good idea.

I haven't used it on the ice yet, but since they flipped my stick and put the blade in the butt end it feels a bit awkward to be holding the stick at the thin end. By just holding the stick, I can feel a huge difference in weight, but I don't know if it is mainly because they flipped the stick or because the blade is 155 grams. Maybe I should dump the Vapor and get a new shaft, or will I be okay with the new blade in?

I really don't mind....you could always just slap a buncha extra tape on the thin end to fix that funky feeling and tape some pennies in there too to help balance it a bit. CNT Z-Carb is nice, but for $52 you coulda found a tapered blade to fit into the normal end of the stick and kept the performance.
