Rangers Prospects in HF's Top Prospects (#11-25)

There are two Rangers prospects in the 11-25 range in HF's prospect rankings for this fall. The two are Cherepanov (18th) and Staal (13th). I guess that means Montoya is in the top 10? I can't believe Staal is not in the top 10 though.

EDIT: Montoya was ranked #10 in the spring ranking. Maybe he moved up a bit. I'm guessing (In no particular order) Jack Johnson, Erik Johnson, Toews, Kane, Turris, Montoya, Rask, Backstrom, Radulov, and Price. If Radulov is not inlcuded, im guessing Ryan will be the other player in the top 10

Do you really care where they rank them?

its nice to see our kids being held in high regard but it means little. So long as they develop for us, it means nothing what Hf or anyone think of them.

3 guys in the top 25 is great though. It does give you some pride to see our scouting and caoching is working well.

Not really, just like the rating system (8.0B, 7.5C, etc.) it doesn't mean much. Just spreading the information to our board is all.

It's nice to see how the people on HF think of our prospects, from a more unbias perspective. I take it Montoya is the only prospect within the top 10 for us, unless he fell in the rankings which I just dont see.

He would have fallen out of the top 50, which is well nigh impossible.
