While streaky, you were a beast for us in the playoffs. We will miss you.

Played well for us his first season here after losing his fiance.
Had a strong second season with us.
Fought through injuries all last year, but turned it on late.

Given everything he's gone through I think he did well here and got a lot of undue hate on this board. Glad he could pick himself up after what happened in BC and wish him nothing but the best in NY.

I guess that means Dubinsky is on his way out. It may be in anticipation of acquiring Nash. And I always thought that when Torres signed Pyatt was expendable. Don't understand the comparison with Moss (except we wish Pyatt played more like a healthy Moss).

Same here, while the skill set may be similar, 25lbs in body weight is a big difference and it showed against the Kings.

I really like Pyatt's performance towards the end of season and in the playoffs. Good size and he can use it well.

I like Pyatt. One of my employees grew up with him and always said he was a nice guy. Loved the way he played in the playoffs. I hate the Rangers but I hope he has continued success.

Yeah, he seemed like a nice guy the couple of times I met him.

He's my youngest daughter's favorite player. She's pretty upset about it. Thanks, Pyatt - you broke the heart of a 7-yr old!

But she's supposed to start hockey lessons on Saturday, so she'll get over it quickly.

Ranger fan here........was hoping to get your opinions on Pyatt

is he more of a 3rd or 4th liner?
he is big but heard he doesnt use his size much?
Is he fast ,slow or average speed?
I have seen him score some goals, not a ton but chipped in

What's your thoughts?

Probably 3rd, but it really doesn't matter.

yep.

I think he moves okay for a guy his size.

Streaky scorer. And will do it often in a single game.

Very good at his role when motivated, pretty mediocre/invisible the rest of the time. Would be a ton more useful if he could play special teams. Doesn't take stupid penalties. And was great in the playoffs last season.

Best of luck Taylor. The "stiffest" player I've ever seen but he made it work.

He will have a game that will bring you out of your seat thinking he's a star top six forward and then disappear for 6-7 games and then have another stellar game. Frustrating player.

Pyatt was a machine in the playoffs. Going to miss him. After this past year, I expect us to make the playoffs this year, and he was a big impact in the playoffs.

Adios to hockey's version of the ugly dachsund.

I'll always appreciate you turning it on during the playoff rung and give you a tip of the cap for overcoming incredible hardships to get back onto the ice and keep your career going

Not sure this is a good fit for the Rangers or Pyatt. Taylor was terrific late in the playoffs but a no show during the regular season.. New York fans won't love a 6-4 230 lb Lady Byng candidate!

I don't know, us New York fans got that with Brian Boytano for awhile until Torts seemed to get more CONSISTENT physical play out of him...Maybe he can do the same with PYATTT? In any event, be nice to have a big body that goes to the net at times and also turns it up in the POs, where it matters...Also Alot better than what we have --Rupp, Haley, Asham
