I remember "Down goes Brown" vividly.
Me and my buds still say it to each other - not with any enthusiasm either, once in a while we just throw "Down goes brown" into a conversation - amazing.
Everything that Sundin has done for us over the years. I also miss Roberts. I still recall the "Roberts" "Roberts" chants at the ACC during the playoffs.

Sometimes you almost fear Bowen is going to have a stroke or heart failure, he sounds so excited. The leafs have great commentators. I like Beyak and Ralph on the radio too, very good to listen to.
Those teams with Mats, Roberts, Mogilny, even if they were not built for success, were lots of fun. And I guess fun is the main point of it all, winning something is bonus. I kind of miss it, I hope Burkie can put together a decent playoff bound team for the 10/11 season, if only to hear Bowen lose his voice in OT again.
No one will ever be better than Cole. And I don't care that he has lost a step, I want him back on my Saturday Night Leaf games.
Hughson was good on mid week games for the Leafs in the late 80's, but he isn't worthy of the Saturday night Leaf telecast. I was hoping Cuthbert would replace Cole, once Cole stepped down.
I remember after that goal, my eyes became watery and my brothers and our family friend were jumping up and down, and they looked at me and said:"what happened" and one of them said: "did we step on your foot", which I replied to "yes" lol.
Sadly, that moment of happiness had to turn into a heart breaker that very next period...
But til this day, my favorite Leaf moments are the ones involving Roberts and McCauley...amazing playoff year.

I still think he is one of the reasons why we lost that series. The team lost total chemistry when he entered the line up.
I can't believe we had to lost three games in OT...what luck.
