Will Spezza become the next Leaf Killer?

I've watched Gretzky come into Toronto and just dominate, same with Yzerman about 2pts a game in Toronto over the years, is Jason Spezza the next great one that is going to come in here and totally destroy us. This kid is going to be a superstar and it's been my observation that these Ontario kids always want to put on a show when they come here, and Spezza being from Toronto I think he's going to be a thorn in our sides for years to come.

We can counter with Stajan. He's scored in every game he's played against the Sens.

Spezza seems like a brilliant player and will do harm to far more than just Leafs. He is a special one.

I'm pretty sure it would take a Jimmy Super Fly Suplex to do it.

Damn I don't think Ferggy could do that move, he's more like a Manager, mind you not the hot female managers that flash wreslters to help their boys win but how awesome would it be if our GM was a hot girl who'd run up to the glass and rub her supple breasts against the glass so the opposing team all stop and stare while we just keep pumping their net full of goals.

in the meantime we'll have to stick with Ferggy who's more of a Ref/Male manager who gets tapped on the shoulder and goes into a coma.

Will Jean Cretien and Goerge Bush ever french kiss?

WTF???

Will Red Horner ever learn to type with his right hand? Because we know his left is do all the typing when he is on this board.

Boy it's going to be a long 10 years or so for us, Spezza is an old smoothie, when he and Havlat teamed up to undress the scantily clad Leafs who left their jock straps in the dressing room, rather than have them slip off while being deeked out of them. Man and these kids are what 20 and 21 wait untill they are men in their prime.

I guess then that means you will be cheering the Sens from now on and treating them to your insightful hockey wisdom?

No way I've been watching losing Leaf hockey since the 50's except for about 6 years between then and now, trust me Shawn you will get used to it. It's an aquired taste.

So does a winning team in your mind have to win the cup every year to be a good team? I understand that we need to win a cup but the Leafs for the most part have been playing pretty good hockey for the last few years.

NHL 2004 LIED TO ME IT SAID HE WAS BORN IN ETOBICOKE!!!!

Speaking of NHL 2004 in year 4 of my Dynasty my lines look like this-

Naslund-Sundin-Bertuzzi
Shanahan-Lecavalier-Nolan
Spezza-a rookie who's awesome-Nash
Mogilny-Wallin-Selanne

Colaiacovo-Foote
Tverdovsky-Kaberle
McCabe-Klesla

Fernendez and Tellqvist

I gotta go play it now

Spezza

Spezza's very good, but he's also a big whiner, and a Lindrosesque attitude. He will not survive in the Eastern Conference, likely will be traded to the West, maybe to a team like Detroit or Colorado who have tons of cash, as well as good solid prospects to pick from. Spezza will become unhappy with his icetime, just wait and see. As far as a Leaf killer, not likely, everything that happened during the last game was fluke, Ottawa dominated because of circumstance. If they had of lost to the Leafs without Sundin-Mogilny-Nolan-Kaberle-Belfour-Belak-Reichel there would have been a real problem in Ottawa.

He is from Etobicoke. NHL.com has him there and in interviews done in previous seasons, they talked about him growing up there.
