how good is this kid? when is he expected to crack the deep nashville line up? can he be impact player like weber? this is for keeper pool, just pts nothing else.
You can tell that Franson is one day going to be a dangerous player. He seems like a smart player with some outstanding offensive tools including great passing and excellent shot selection. That being said, he's going to have to spend some time in Milwaukee for at least one season. He will need some time to adjust to the professional game. He needs some experience at the AHL level. He needs to improve his skating a tad bit and become a little more physical.
He'll likely spend the year in Milwaukee. We're already crowded on defense as it is.
Right now I would guess 2 years for the Ads rather than one but that's just a guess. Weber seemed further along at this point and we had less capable defensemen.
I think the Weber/Franson/Suter/Hamhuis era could be really, really special if we can keep it together for a while.
