Pyatt got a taste. I think that was the plan. Now he has to go down to Hartford and establish his game at the AHL level. He was maybe the 5th or 6th option after Gomez, Drury & Betts. He is better served by going down and getting ready for his season in the AHL. I like Pyatt but he was an extremely long shot to begin with and if he didn't turn any heads early I'm sure the thought was make the easy decision and send him out, one less to worry about.
