From what I heard it was a satellite issue last night. They were launching a number of new HD channels and ran into a tech problem which knocked out the game feed. You shoudl be ok tonight.

I don't want to be schlepping back and forth a ton of times so my plan is to leave for Jersey right from the game tonight. Only problem is that I've got my stick and a bag with my skates and equipment in it. Will they let me check this downstairs or will they let me into the building at all? Does anyone know? Any info would be appreciated.
Sounds like you may have a problem. What they state as policy is that any bag that is brought to the arena must be able to fit under your seat. But it is a pre-season game so who know you might get lucky.

Stupid haircut place. I had a 3:00 appointment(west coast time), they call me and tell me its pushed back to 4. Right when the game is on. I'm so pissed at them.

You would hope that the soccer game gets shifted to MSG2, and they leave the Rangers on MSG.

Season Preview is on from 6 to 7, then the hockey game...at least down here in NJ.

Yeah I hear you. I don't see how in the hell Hartford, CT can be considered the local market. I talked to DirecTV three times and three times I got a different answer.

Does MSG make the decisions about which of the 50 games they'd provide? Also, if I got Center Ice, would I be able to see all of the games?

Well so far I can see the game. I keep looking at the screen like it's going to black out any minute though. MSG needs to stop playing with my emotions.

DirecTV says the pre-game's on from 6-730 here, then the soccer game. My fear is it's going to cut out at 730 if you don't have the MLS programming package.

Yep, but with Center Ice, 90% of the time you get the home teams feed, so you wouldn't get every game MSG has.
