its possible that he'll be looked at but if he wasn't drafted then chances are slim that he'll see an invite from a OHL team unless he has a great season..Not to say people don't get invites from junior c teams to OHL camps but usually they are a draft pick of a OHL team

also is it possible to get drafted this coming draft if your a 91?...even though its '92's getting drafted, like can you get drafted the year after your draft year, if that makes sense?

Yes you can, it obviously doesn't happen often though because teams can just invite players to training camp.

yes Jr. C players get scouted, if he moves up to Jr. B then he has alot better chance of getting looked at/getting camp invites, but Jr. C is certainly a good place to start and he can move up from there, and get invites from there, i know Sarnia invited 2 Jr. B and 2 Jr. C players, so it does happen.

Jordan Hill signed as a free agent with Sarnia after playing last year in junior C with Wallaceburg Lakers. He has a goal in 2 games so far this season so it can happen.

Although he was drafted by the Knights, I think Luke VanMoerkerke played Jr C in Norwich before going to St. Catharines area to play tier 2.

That s right on Luke but also coming out of Junior C was Steve Mason.
Played for Grimsby Peach Kings and what a find he was.
Getting picked out of C is easier if your in a bigger center where scouts get to.
If this kid or his family feels he has something to offer then advise and of the B teams who have scouts in the field going around.

junior c isnt the most scouted level, but there def. are scouts. theres always some good players playin jr. b/c and either dont want to move away from home yet, like it close to home, or are gettin some extra $ for playing at that level. i kno plenty of guys who could have played jr. a but chose b/c because of these reasons

If your friend is a stand-out, and I mean a stand-out he will be noticed. IMO, he would have to be rookie of the year in the Jr C league to have a shot as a walk on to an OHL team. Assuming he wasn't drafted.

Pretty much it. A great season could potentially lead to a Jr B spot, but there is a mighty big jump from Jr C to CHL hockey.

Agreed, even the jump from Jr B to OHL is rare, as an undrafted player.
