sounds good. Not sure if I'll have much time before the game as I get out of work at 5 / 5:30 and will hopefully catch a 6 something lirr to Penn. but I'd be up for a meet and greet with fellow Rangers fans.

GOING TO OPENING NIGHT!!!! just checked Ticketmaster on a whim and got 2 tix in sect. 342. Not sure how this happened but apparently some extra seats became available. Also saw 2 in 348 but didn't want to be that far behind the net. Where are we all meeting for beers? I won't have my new jersey yet but I'll be decked out in my autographed one from last year.

Just checked again for the hell of it and saw section 78, row A... it looks like it's right behind a bench, but not sure which one. Any idea?

I'll be there. I have a couple of extra seats available too for anyone that is still scrambling for tickets. Check out the tickets thread or the "Section South" thread for details.

I'm so freaking pumped that I just got tix on TM.... how do I change my vote to yes that I will be there? oh and as for the meet and greet thing, my name is Mike, I'm 6'6" and will be wearing my white Rangers jersey containing autographs... my gf will be in her white Prucha jersey. Will most likely be looking for Yuengling or any other beer.

Thanks for your interest man, and for trying to help me sell them. The tickets have found a happy home already though

NOTE: If you are looking for opening night tickets at face value, CHECK TICKETMASTER NOW. They have a ton of seats available now for Sec 346-348, Sec 215 and 232, as well as club seating. Ive seen sets of 4 available as well... Check asap before they sell.

I dont understand...they say every game is sold out yet there are tickets that have not been bought by anyone yet that they release right before the game. Why would they hold tickets back when they can pretty much gurantee they will sell early. Why take the chance that people buy them the day before? Doesnt make sense to me

A lot of these tickets were recently released by the team. It happens in every sport.

346-348, and 232 are at the wrong (bad) end. But regardless, it's nice to see people can still get tickets.

I wish I could have gone tonight, but I don't have a reliable transporation source to get me back and forth from my house. (And my mother probably didn't want to take an hour or so to drive down there on a night where she had to go to work the next morning.)

However (and yes, this was coming), I should be making the trip up to Boston for the game on October 20th. Nothing screams "happy birthday" like an NHL game and a hopeful win.
