Anyone know how to expand a DVR with an SATA drive? So much hockey to record!

What cable box do you have? I upgraded my SA 8300HD with Azio eSata enclosure, cable, and 400 GB Seagate HD. Think I got everything from newegg for about $140 total. Basically quadrupled my DVR's capacity. Can keep at least 25 Rangers games in HD stored on it now.

Except english football is 249394 miles away. I go to games and support my local club football side every other week, and make bus trips to away games in DC and Foxboro. Can't do that just watching a foreign league on the tele.

I have that box. So if I go on newegg I can get all of that? What is the enclosure?

It you have DirecTV, then I just did it this week. Bought a Seagate Freeagent Pro (750GB). Just unplugged the DVR...plugged in the disk, and turned it on...simple as that.
