He is worth nothing.
He is signed for this season at 2 mil. This alone drops him down to later round draft picks if anything. But once again, he isn't worth anything to another team.
No team is going to give anything for him, if a team is interested they will wait until the off season to have discussions with him and his agent.

No team is going to give anything up to take him for a month then possibly a playoff series or 2.

Philly is going to have him until their season ends. Then another team will pick him up in the off season.

Hes been terrific this year.
I bet 5 or more teams would be on the line to take a guy like Zherdev.
This board is all over this dude like hes a hockey pariah or something.
15G in 45GP. All on bottom 6 minutes.
Hes more valuable than this board is giving him credit.

You clearly have no idea about Zherdev.

The guy is far more responsible than he use to be.
Scores with no linemates, has been bounced line to line with JVR and Carter at some points.

The guy deserves much more credit than he is given, far more improvement with this team than Columbus or New York.

Right, I "CLEARLY" know absolutely zero about Zherdev.
What a sign of brilliance, telling a 45+ year NHL fan that he has no clue about a player.
It would be laughable if you were joking..................

Z has been playing well for the Flyers. His value to them far outweighs his trade value.

idiots are idiots (not to say you are one) but just because you watch 45 + years of hockey doesnt mean you have to know anything about a certain player, and coming from your beliefs that Zherdev has no value is more laughable than you think... thus, proving my point.

We needed the cap space and TB was the only place Gagne wanted to go. Zherdev has looked good at times. Don't knock what you don't see every game. He's come a long way.

Walker is a cap casualty and plus we got a 4th out of it.

And Andrej Meszaros who has been the best player out of all four mentioned by a long shot.

Zherdev has done a lot right. Especially in the last 10 games. Even if he isn't on the score sheet, you should actually watch him. If he gets hit, he will hit back. He won't sit around while you screw with him.

I've got a secret, wanna hear it?

(Zherdev is outscoring Gagne, and he gave us the room to get the excellent Meszaros.)

1. Yes he is signed for 2 mill. That is about all you have right. Why does what he makes devalue his return if by chance he was moved?
2. Teams rent players every year. Where have you been?
3.Maybe, Maybe not
4. Clearly you have a resentment deep down towards either the player or the team

This. I started a thread a while ago looking for offers for him, but forget it. He's not going anywhere.

Is there a Bad Post HOF? For one thing, they didn't give up Gagne to get Zherdev and Walker. For another...

2010-2011 ES G/ES TOI:
Crosby - 1/31 minutes
Stamkos - 1/33 minutes
Briere - 1/35 minutes
Zherdev - 1/38 minutes
J. Carter - 1/40 minutes
Kesler - 1/42 minutes
D. Sedin - 1/46 minutes
B. Ryan - 1/48 minutes
Perry - 1/55 minutes
Sharp - 1/57 minutes

etc.

EDIT: This is not a top 10 list of ESG/ESTOI. This is just how Zherdev stacks up against the top goal scorers. For example, Scott Hartnell is 1/48.

He's been awesome since the start of the season really. I bet he's pleased to have been rescued from Tampa.

To put a little more perspective on it, Gagne averages a goal roughly every 76 minutes of even strength ice time.

He still can tend to make boneheaded plays and turn the puck over at times, but the guy is absolutely trying hard at both ends of the ice. He'll never be a defensive dynamo but just giving the effort is really nice to see.

As others have said, he's also scored some pretty big goals for the Flyers. I doubt he's back next year but right now it wouldn't make sense to move him for what he'd get back

It really makes no sense for the flyers to trade im. He will likely resign with them and is a great bottom 6 guy to have on a team that is pretty much stacked offensively.

This is coming from a guy who hates the flyers and hates zherdev. Really makes no sense at all and i have no idea why this thread was bumped
