Who scores Blues first goal of '07-'08?
One of the usual suspects?
A new guy?
The field?
Let's hope it's in Phoenix....and not when Jay McKee returns.

Field, Hinote got it last year, he's on a hot streak.

Eric Brewer. After improving his play last year, sticking up for his teammates against Vancouver at the end of last season, and signing the new contract, I hope this is the time where he comes into his own as a Blue and gains acceptance.
Also...if McKee scores the first goal of our season, I think we're boned

Kariya is everywhere. Our most talented player gets his first goal as a blue on the power play in first period in Phoenix.

Brad Boyes.
Just seems like he is playing really well with Weight.
Stempniak will lead the Blues in goal-scoring though

Can I simply choose Johnson? Reduces my odds to 1 in 7.

I have to agree with Boyes. I also think he will lead the team in points, probably about 70 this year.

The Blues traded him in the Gretzky deal I believe. Perhaps then Terry Johnson will be the first to drop his gloves.

I going out on a limb here and predicting it will be Brad Boyes 22 seconds into the first from Weight and Brewer.

Well then, just to be different (from comments already posted...haven't looked at the poll results yet), I'll go with Walt.

Jammer from behind the net(he is really attempting to center the puck but Aebischer mis-plays it).

I just jumped on the Boyes bandwagon: a PP goal at 4:32 in the first.

I'm going with Rucinsky. After taking a beautiful feed from Keith Tkachuk on a play set up by Dave Backes. Rucinsky buries the biscuit. As he throws his arms up in celebration of his goal, he tears his rotator cuff and is out for the season.
