GDT: Flyers vs Oilers

I haven't done one of these yet, maybe I'll bring some good luck and the Flyers can awake from their slump.

Esche is in net tonight.

I see Comrie starting off a little shaky from so much emotion, settling back and taking care of business.

Flyers 3 (Comrie 2, Gagne 1)
Oliers1 (Smyth)

Esche is starting so Im going to predict a win for a change!

I dont care who scores as long as they are on my fantasy team.

From what I've been reading on these boards lately, even when he's in the lineup he doesn't really play. And he isn't fighting either.

If Fedoruk is in the lineup I bet he'd give him a go.

Fedoruk's been a scratch since the StL game b/c he fought twice?

I think that the Flyers will win because Esche in net and Comrie is going to go nuts on Edmonton. Comrie has just impressed me to no end and I think that he is going to go off tonight...bigtime.

Flyers - 5
Oilers - 2

LET'S GO FLYERS!

Maybe I'm a bit optimistic but I predict a 5-1 win for the O&B...

Other than the Blues game, we just don't score more than 3 goals very often, especially when we're not on the PP. So I say Flyers win 3-2.
Esche needs a real solid game to get that full time starting job. I hope our skills guys can get some goals 5 on 5.

With all the emotion involved, i douby will see Edmonton put up a dismal performance, they want to make Mike look bad so with the Flyers recent lump, i see this one being very tight. All i' saying is our boyz better come up with a win because we could have hads such a lead over Jersey with their slump and we haven't. This will be a big night for Comrie.

Flyers 4 Comrie (3) Gagné
Oilers 2 Who cares (2)

is it me, or was the number one powerplay on a bit too long for that 5on3
it's slumps like this, that makes me wish we had traded off the veterans and let the kids play
might not win as much, but they'd atleast put forth effort every night

3 plus mins of 5 on 3. What, half a dozen shots and about 700 passes? Can't anyone lift the puck over this guy - he's been laying on the ice a couple times and we keep trying to smash it through his body. Leclair was just getting mugged there at the end of the 2nd, not that we would have scored on any PP that might have been called.
Maybe we'll get another 5 on 3, pull Esche and put on a 6th skater and have the beer guy toss bottle caps at their goalie! Someone do something - please!!
