Surgery Monday

We knew it might happen. KSPN 710 just reported the season ending surgery on the 4 PM update. Apparently it's on lakings.com.

one good thing about ziggy getting surgery is that it means management is seroius about keeping him with the kings. if they had no interest in resigning him the following year, they would have just let him heal and use him as much as they can until they let him go. now, they're sacrficing him this year so that he will be better in the future.

if we keep him, that will be great cause he's worth every million we paid him and more. keep trucking ziggy! we need ya!!

Losing Ziggy is like losing a family memeber...I have a very empty feeling inside of me right now.

That's how I feel too. I feel really depressed about Ziggy's situation and feel bad for the rest of the team. You could tell that they weren't focused for the game against the Nucks. I just hope they don't end up feeling sorry for themselves... they need to keep playing hard for each other, the fans and for Ziggy. Go Kings!!!!
