Shaft Question

I have a couple questions. I went to my LHS and they had pro stock shafts, a CCM 120C and a RBK 6K shaft. Both were forty bucks.

1.Is this a good deal?

and

2.Which shaft do you guys prefer?

THanks

#1. Not bad
#2. Neither =P Actually I've never used them but both are mid-range shafts. I've heard the 120 OPS was good, cept for the blade so it might be good. But also pro stocks could just be some other stick painted over.

I have a RBK 4k shaft and blade, the 6k is basically the same except it's a little bit lighter and has a different grip. I like it just fine, it's a good stick. I payed 40 bucks for my 4k shaft on sale, so the same price for a 6k is a good deal.

How strong are you and what are you using now? What kind of shots do you normally take and are you happy with them?

For me, most important thing is flex, then the kickpoint, then the performance, then durability. Usually I find my stuff on clearance so price isn't an issue.

Haven't used either, but definitely make sure the flex is right for you. Pro stock stuff can be a lot stiffer since the pros are stronger than normal beer leaguers. My friend gave me a pro stock Stealth which was great, except it was 110 flex and I ideally would use an 80 flex.

Edit: Here's an online site that has the 6K shaft + two blades for $100 - http://www.hockeymonkey.com/rbk-hock...-6k-combo.html, 2 tapered blades for $60 is a relatively good price. Although if you're in Canada, you might have some exorbitant shipping fees.
